The modern era starts with the creation of the Emirate of Transjordan, in 1921, which is going to become the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in 1949. Still considered at that time as an area in-between, Jordan has today established itself as an indispensable geopolitical entity. It has been able to build itself and maintain in the middle of all the prevailing circumstances that the region faces. It now represents a pole of stability. Jordan has in the present time everything for developing a dynamic and creative society, able to carry out a good economic development.
